About BLV

This fund provides exposure to long-term (10+ years), investment-grade bonds from the US Treasury and corporations with strong credit. Bonds are essentially loans that you give to these institutions—and when a bond is “investment-grade,” it means the risk of default is relatively low; however, this particular ETF is vulnerable to changes in interest rates. Longer-maturity bonds generally pay higher interest rates accordingly, but may be more vulnerable to interest rate changes.
